Pippa Smith

Pippa Smith is a London-based, self-taught artist celebrated for her vibrant and expressive still-life paintings. Her work draws deeply from her Hispanic heritage, blending bold colour palettes and playful compositions to evoke the warmth and serenity of the Mediterranean. Seafood, traditional ceramics, blue and white tiles and the conviviality of the kitchen table are recurring themes, reflecting both her cultural roots and her Abuela’s culinary influence.

With an MA from Edinburgh University in History of Art, Pippa initially worked as an art dealer for an international contemporary gallery. However, it was during the 2020 lockdown that she embraced painting full-time, developing a distinctive style that reimagines the traditional still-life genre with a modern, joyful twist.

Pippa has exhibited both in the UK and Internationally at The Other Art Fair, London, The Alwani Exhibit, Gibraltar, Zoara's Auction, Madrid and Oxfordshire Art Weeks. She was also the official art partner for the Sicilian Food and Music Festival, Marzamemi and held a sell out exhibit at Art For Youth at the prestigious Mall Galleries.
